Workshop on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
District Excise department and with Basaveshwara medical college and hospital has conducted a workshop on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Rajesh M.S. Medical Superintendent of BMCH. The Chief guest Dr.Ashalatha.K , Deputy commissioner of Excise, Chitradurga provided a comprehensive explanation about Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Students were also encouraged to actively participate in spreading this crucial awareness, a fundamental component of any health education initiative.
The audience comprised MBBS Phase-3 students and interested faculty members from various departments within the institution. The program was successfully conducted in Basaveshwara Medical College, Hospital Chitradurga. Sri Kiran D.J, Superintendent of Excise, chitradurga. Smt Vanitha Inspector of Excise chitradurga and other members of Excise department, attended the workshop. The effective execution of the program was made possible through the dedication of faculty members Manager Mr. Sathyanarayana.
